Justin Morneau:  MLB MVP

American League Baseball MVP Justin Morneau is a proud Canadian who grew up in New Westminster, British Columbia.  At only twenty-five years old, the impressive young athlete is largely considered one of the top MLB up-and-comers and one of the top Canadian first basemen’s of all time. 

Morneau made his Major League Baseball debut in 2003 with the Minnesota Twins and was quick to impress both the league and his growing fan base with his talent.  He has consistently appeared near the top of the American League leaderboard in batting average, home runs and RBI.  Morneau’s hard work and dedication was rewarded in November 2006 when he received the American League MVP.  Like NBA MVP Steve Nash, Morneau was the first Canadian to win this honour.

Clearly, we couldn't ask for a better team player.
