I wear contacts almost every day, usually for 16-18 hours at a time. I have tried many types of contact lenses, and for me, these are BY FAR the best! Super comfortable. Other gel lenses I have found to feel quite thick, and I could never get used to the sensation of wearing the lens (after many years of wearing old school lenses which were much thinner, but not the new breathable material). When I wear these, I can't feel anything on my eyes, and I got used to them right away. Like any contacts, if I wear them for too long or in dry environments, they can get somewhat dry and irritating - however, I've found that to be quite rare with these.

I've been wearing CIBA Vision "night & day" lenses since 2006 and used to love and swear by their products. I routinely wore these lenses for 60 days or more without ever once having to take them out.

A few years ago they re-branded their lenses "Air Optix", increasd the price significantly, and the quality has nose dived.

I've just finished my second 6 month supply of the regular Air Optix Aqua and I can say without hesitation that they are the worst lenses I have worn in the past 20 years. I am lucky if I can get 6 hours of comfortable wear out of these lenses before they completely dry out and adhere themselves to my eyeballs. They are also very prone to small knicks and tears, as well as falling out inexplicably (probably as a result of trying to re-seat them as a result of extreme discomfort).

I thought I'd just been unlucky with the first 6 month supply and decided to give them another go, but only ended up regretting my decision.

I've also tried the more expensive Air Optix Night & Day lenses and while they're much, much better, they're still nowhere near as good as the previous generation of lenses, and cost almost double.

    Comments about Air Optix Aqua:

This is my first time purchasing contact lenses. Read the description and reviews and purchased this brand because it stated that it allowed more oxygen through the lens and would not be dry. I was very disappointed. My eyes constantly feel dry and need to put drops every 4 hours.

The worst contact I have ever wear!

          Comments about Air Optix Aqua:

I wore a lot of different contact lenses and it's by far the worst and uncomfortable I ever worn! I wore many different cosplay/costumes' contact lenses, many sizes and sometime I have to put drops while wearing them but never like I had to do with that product! I had to put drops in my eyes every 15 minutes to keep them lubricated and not to uncomfortable. They are expensive and not at all comfortable.

Itchy Eyes - Use Hydrogen Peroxide Based Solution

          Comments about Air Optix Aqua:

On the 2nd day of using this product, my eyes got very itchy and had to take the lenses out. I read online that sometimes silicone hydrogel contacts don't go well with multi-purpose lens solution. I switched it to hydrogen peroxide based solution and my eyes are not itchy anymore.
So far the only thing I have noticed is a slight dryness. These lenses provide a very clear vision. I had a problem with my old brand moving around and also being foggy sometimes but I don't have these problems with Optix.

First time that I bought these contacts because my usual brand would not come up. I have wasted my money as these contacts are unwearable, I can not stand to have them in for more then an hour.
