How have you been wearing the whiteout trend? You could go masculine and wear a white blazer and pants with “we mean business” white stilettos, or you can soften things up like we’ve done with this week’s stylist approved look featuring an amazing pair of retro inspired Chloé sunglasses.
The Core Outfit
The use of texture and shape is important in conveying the vibe you want, in this case we are going for a feminine whiteout outfit. We used a white draped silk blouse from Etro and Jacquard silk pencil skirt from Alexander McQueen. The fluid shape of the silk blouse contrasts well with the structured pencil skirt, keeping the whole look polished and powerful.
Black and gold has always been a Fall/Winter favourite colour combination of ours; now that summer is finally coming around we’ve switched it up with a white/gold combination – bringing out the summer goddess in you. A structured, gold wrist cuff adds a bit of toughness into the look, contrasting nicely against the feminine, white, flowy pieces in the outfit. A mid-sized clutch with gold studs lets you go matchy-matchy with the accessories and the clothing. The heels with the masculine centre strap pull the look together.
The featured pair of sunglasses in this look is a new pair of Chloé sunglasses that are retro-inspired with a modern flair. The caramel hue softens the frames while the solid, grey top bar compliments the cateye shape. We love the subtle, gold stripes at the top of either side of these Chloé sunglasses, which adds a touch of sophistication and elegance.
Ready to get your own pair of Chloé sunglasses to increase the sophistication of your outfits?
Shimmer and shine with a touch of gold to your eyes and face. For your face, sweep a golden highlighter on your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose to highlight these features against your sun-kissed skin. As for makeup, we recommend using the Naked palette from Urban Decay; for all the days when you want to look natural and sexy, this is our go-to item.
