Dior Glasses: A Vintage Twist

Dior glasses have long been known for their sophisticated designs that feature a vintage twist. Dior was founded in 1946 by Christian Dior and the fashion house quickly made a name for itself with its ‘New Look’ in 1947. For nearly 70 years, Christian Dior clothing, handbags and eyewear have been synonymous with innovative design with a classic appeal. A staple fashion brand for the most elite, Christian Dior’s success continued until his death in 1957, but the name continued on under the masterful eye of designer Yves Saint-Laurent.

The Christian Dior brand highlights timeless beauty through it’s more recent Lady Dior campaign that stars Marion Cotillard who is styled in Raf Simons for Dior. Fashionista.com states that if “these [images] were in black and white they could easily have been from the ‘50s”. Christian Dior’s new Lady Dior campaign illustrates the brands seamless pairing of innovation meets tradition with Marion Cotillard’s eye catching skirt that features an angled hemline and nipped in waist.

Dior glasses are known for their modern design with a retro inspired influence. Our editors have handpicked their favourite designs from the Dior glasses collection, which include classic rectangular shapes to stronger browline and rounded shapes.
