Each season brings new looks to reinvent your wardrobe. With spring 2015’s glasses trends we looked at ways to weave key motifs while maintaining a sense of individual stylistic expression.

We met with Casey-Jo, Chad, Britney, and Jamie to see how they would take on four key spring trends, Full Circle, Shades of Pale, 70’s Hustle, and French Pop, and make it their own.

Looking for a switch from your bold, rectangular frames? Round shapes range in style from vintage-inspired to thoroughly modern colour-blocked design.

If you’re looking for an escape from bolder shapes and bright colours, look no further than striking acetates featuring translucent, bone, and rose hues in shapes that flatter.

There’s a beautiful sort of essence to timelessness, and I think trends come and go but [you] can take elements of those trends and make it your own. Jamie Collins

70’s Hustle

The Seventies craze in fashion has been reinterpreted with rich palettes of deep hues, gradient patters and new design features that allow for great experimentation with glasses shapes.

French Pop

Drawing from the late 50’s and early 60’s, designers have presented looks from spring inspired by mid-century fashion such as upswept cat eyes and wing tipped shapes.

Bending the Trend, I would say, is taking a piece from any era or any genre and making it work with your lifestyle and your wardrobe and your own personal style. Casey-Jo Loos
