Today marks World Sight Day: an annual day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness, visual impairment and rehabilitation of the visually impaired.<\/p>\n<p>In support of this mission, ClearlyContacts.ca has extended their goal of donating two million pairs of eyeglasses by the year 2020 through the Change the View project to also include maximum UV protected sunglasses and eye vitamins.<\/p>\n<p>This year the Change the View project visited Vancouver&#8217;s downtown eastside, in partnership with the bi-annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.providencehealthcare.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Providence in the Park<\/a> event, to help with vision testing so those who would otherwise not have access to prescription glasses\u00a0could walk away with a pair of their very own.
