The prices of our glasses and contacts are the same in-store as they are online. However, we often run exclusive in-store promotions so it’s always worth talking to our experts so we can find the best deal for you.
If we have your contacts in stock, you can pick them up on the same day at our Clearly Robson St location. You’ll need to bring a valid contact lens prescription and show it to the team.
Glasses orders take a little longer, as we have to create your custom lenses and fit them into your chosen frames. We can arrange to ship your glasses directly to you, or you can pick them up in-store. Typically, glasses orders take about 2 weeks. If you ordered your glasses online and want to pick them up in the store, you’ll also need to show us your valid glasses prescription.
There are plenty of pay parking lots near our Robson St location. The nearest one is on Hornby St, across from the Vancouver Art Gallery. You can also find street parking along Robson Street.
An ophthalmologist provides medical and surgical treatments for complex eye conditions. An optometrist, also called an eye doctor, is your healthcare professional for routine eye care: comprehensive eye exams and vision tests. They provide eye prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, and treatments for common eye conditions, such as dry eyes, glaucoma, and eye infections. Our local optometrists can also provide pre- and post-eye surgery care.
If you’re looking for an optometrist in Vancouver, book an eye exam or a store visit with us online.
An optometrist is your healthcare professional for eye care who provides comprehensive eye exams and vision tests, eye prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, and treatments for common eye conditions.
An optician is a technician who generally dispenses glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses as stated by your optometrist or ophthalmologist on your eye prescriptions. If you need eyewear adjustments or repairs, an optician can also help.
If you’re looking for a local optician or optometrist in Vancouver, book an eye exam or a store visit with us online.
Our optometrists will perform a series of tests in a comprehensive eye exam:
- Refractive issues: nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, or presbyopia
- Overall perception: colour vision, depth perception, and eye coordination
- Assessment of vision loss: “lazy eye” (amblyopia), glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, cataracts, and keratoconus
- Assessment of other health conditions: vascular diseases, neurological diseases, inflammatory diseases, and certain cancers
A regular eye exam every one to two years can help ensure your eyes and overall health are healthy.
On the day of your appointment for an eye exam or routine eye checkup with our optometrists, please bring with you:
- A list of any medications that you currently use
- All pairs of glasses that you currently use
- If you are a contact lens wearer, please wear your glasses to the appointment (if available), and bring your contact lens boxes/foils
- Your provincial health card
According to your optometrist assessment, your eye doctor may prescribe contact lenses if you need vision correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia.
Since contacts are medical devices and they are made using different shapes, sizes, and materials, it’s best to seek your optometrist if you’re considering contacts. Book an eye exam today for a valid contact lens prescription and initial contact lens fitting.
According to your optometrist assessment, your eye doctor may prescribe toric contact lenses if you need vision correction for astigmatism. Regular contacts aren’t made with the necessary shape and prescription power to correct blurry vision caused by astigmatism and allow for more object focus. Book an eye exam today for a valid contact lens prescription and initial contact lens fitting.
A comprehensive eye exam examines your vision quality and eye health. If you’re considering contact lenses for the first time or if you need a new prescription, a contact lens exam can help. It includes a contact lens fitting to ensure correct measurements for the ideal lens fit. If you’re considering a new glasses prescription, a comprehensive eye exam is adequate.
