Frequently Asked Questions

Booking a store visit in advance gives you a guaranteed spot in the Clearly West 4th Ave store. You can still enter the store without an appointment, but it’s always a good idea to secure your spot beforehand, so you don’t have to wait in line if you happen to visit at one of Kitsilano’s busy times. If you already have an eye exam booked, you don’t need a store appointment.

Routine eye exams aren’t covered by MSP for people between the ages of 19 and 64. Please visit the Government of British Columbia website for more information.
We don’t currently do direct billing for eyewear or eye exams. Our team will provide you with a receipt you can use to submit a claim to your insurance provider.

The prices of our glasses and contacts are the same in-store as they are online. However, we often run exclusive in-store promotions so it’s always worth talking to our experts so we can find the best deal for you.

If we have your contacts in stock, you can pick them up on the same day at our Clearly West 4th Ave location.

Glasses orders take a little longer, as we have to create your custom lenses and fit them into your chosen frames. We can arrange to ship your glasses directly to you, or you can pick them up in-store. Typically, glasses orders take about 2 weeks.

There are two pay parking lots near Clearly West 4th Ave, located on the corner of Arbutus and West 5th Ave. You can also find street parking along West 4th Ave and on adjacent streets.
