<div><p>Your prescription might look like a code, but it’s easier than it seems. ‘OD’ is your right eye and ‘OS’ is your left. Numbers with a minus (–) mean nearsightedness, while a plus (+) means farsightedness. You may also see cylinder (CYL) and axis for astigmatism, or add power for multifocals. Each part helps ensure your lenses are made just for your eyes.</p></div>

How do i read my prescription?

<div><p>Your Pupillary Distance, or PD, is the distance in millimeters (mm) from the center of one pupil to the center of the other. It indicates exactly which part of the lens you look through, ensuring optimal comfort and clarity. You can measure with the app or manually.</p><ul><li>How to measure your Pupillary Distance:</li><li>Grab a mirror and a millimeter ruler.</li><li>Stand about 8 inches (20mm) away from the mirror.</li><li>Gently hold the mirror against your brow bone and close one eye.</li><li>Align the 0mm mark with the center of the open pupil.</li><li>Look straight ahead. Close the open eye, and open the closed eye.</li><li>Measure the millimeter mark that aligns with the open pupil.</li><li>This number is your PD, which averages between 58mm-65mm for most adults.</li></ul></div>
