Designer Bill Blass was one of those rare people who knew what he wanted and didn't let anything get in his way. As a child, he would fill his school books with drawings of elegant gowns and sophisticated red carpet fashions and, by age 15, he
had already designed and sold a line of evening gowns to a New York clothier. In fact, before he was eligible to vote or enlist in the army, Blass had won Mademoiselle's prestigious Design for Living award. After fighting for the Allies in World
War II, he set to work forging his own style, creating a look that was both rugged and dignified. For his effort, Blass was awarded the Fashion Institute of Technology's Lifetime Achievement Award and seven Coty Awards.
The Bill Blass line of eyeglasses proudly embody that legacy, imbuing traditional shapes with bold, vintage-inspired touches. You'll find full frame and semi-rimless styles with slim acetate arms, subtle wingtip flair and tortoiseshell patterns
that give off a studious yet playful feel. Find the perfect frame for your look and then equip them with a range of custom options.
